Boobie Baby

Well Princess is DEFINITELY a Boobie Baby!!! I got to nurse her yesterday for the first and second and third times!!! They called the lactation consultant to come up and"Help" she laughed and said "well my extent of helping is getting you some pillows... looks like you two know exactly what you are doing!!!!" And we do!! Of all my three kids... Kyleigh is DEFINITELY the best nurser I have had thus far... Owen... well we all know how that went. He NEVER latched properly and I pumped for a solid year... Ross would get irritated really quickly if the milk didn't come down immediately... but Kyleigh... I think she just likes to "commune with the boob" Last night the nurse couldn't hold her off until we got back from shift change- so she ate 35 cc and then turned around and nursed on BOTH sides... then we weighed her and did the diaper and colostomy cleaning and she nursed AGAIN... well that time was really just to satisfy her need to know it was there and she went straight to sleep!!!

Yesterday was a good day!!

PS.... she passed the car seat test with flying colors!!! GUESS WHAT THAT MEANS?????
